draw-draw-draw and drawl some more, point connected to the thought, line runs off traced by

madames et monsieurs, voici a couple of illustrations i've conjured up for the March issue of

Playboy magazine Romania. More stuff to come in zi next number.

while we wait

we keep forgetting where we left off from.

since prehistory till post-history, we, the animal recorders,

have failed to learn from our encoded and decoded past.

faulty, guilty, lost, lustful, april fools and foes,

consuming each other in the race to milk time's impalpable lactating titty.

drawling eyes and aching backs,

grieving in complex equations

the natural chaos all possessing.

hopefully computers won't be as messed up as their programmers.

sous le cou(p) du lapin

149 A5 booklets for Tamara's show this Saturday, printed on recycled paper, were stuck at

Otopeni customs yesterday. Took a bit over a month to finish, from concept to physical object.

Ended up doing it all in pencil since it enabled me to go through all the stages the images

required: from skeleton lines to deep shadows. The moodboard included influences from

De Stijl to Lucian Freud to Dominique Goblet.

Each character is an actor in the performance Tamara's choreographed . Iris is angular and

functional, afraid of growing old and never going anywhere. Sui's disintegrating since her

husband left her. Anastase's existence is a bizarre blend of his father's pragmatism and his

mother's delusions, which draws him closer to the bathroom, space reserved for their

collective final pit stop, in the clutches of the rabid "rabbit".

recently realized i've started to enjoy working in layers. collage, paper cutout illustrations

and markers are grinding my brain bananas. this piece is from last year and was part of the

Lowbrow Sideshow we had in December.

part of a comic from a 3 comic booklet compiled for tamara gvozdenovic's show in Neuchatel's

Theatre du Pommier. it's called sous le cou(p) du lapin and will be rumbling on March 19th.

if you in swatch country don't miss it!

found this kitschy gobelin in the flea market. thought it couldn't get any worse but, as it turned

out late last night, bad enough is as a decent start as any.

.don't know the quality of the air we take in, still we keep breathing.

heart keeps beating to the base of trucks and voitures passing by like waves.

point connected to the line, multiplied by space and time turns perspective into a raster point

watch the clock, take the pulse of the moment and wait for the sign to jump. it's in the air we share.
